I warmly welcome you to Tany’s Dell Primary School and Nursery. I am very proud to be part of this vibrant, happy and caring school, where children are firmly at the heart of everything we do.

Our school is a fantastic place to learn, play and work. We pride ourselves on making this an inclusive school, with a tight-knit, family feel. As staff we are able to really get to know each pupil and work to meet their needs to the very best of our ability. We have high expectations for all the children and we value every one of them as a unique part of our community.

The curriculum at Tany’s Dell is engaging, lively and creative. We believe in giving children a hands-on approach to learning, letting them experiment and experience activities, which will inspire them to find out more. We follow a mastery approach at Tany’s Dell Primary putting a strong emphasis on basic skills across subjects.

Our motto ‘Reach for the Stars’ is rooted in British Values and is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to foster a lifelong love of learning and believe that our children deserve the very best as they start their learning journey with us. We work in partnership with parents, carers and members of our local communities to achieve that goal. An important part of our ethos is to value the partnership we have with parents, as we know that working closely together helps our children to benefit fully from school.
